29 Inch Square Full Grain Leather Ottoman in Cognac Tan with Solid Wood Legs

Leather this good deserves a simple shape. The square ottoman is wrapped in full grain, pure aniline dyed leather in a warm cognac tan, undyed with pigment so the natural grain, markings, and shading of the hide all show through. It will scuff, and that is the appeal: over time it settles into a soft vintage patina no factory finish can fake.

Underneath the surface it is built like good seating. A corner blocked solid wood frame carries Pirelli webbing, topped with a high resiliency foam core and polyester fill, so the fixed cushion stays plush without going soft and shapeless. Solid rubberwood legs in a honey finish lift it off the floor for a lighter stance.

Stack it with books and a tray and it becomes a generous, soft coffee table, or leave it clear and put your feet up at the end of a long day. Because every hide is unique, depth of color varies piece to piece. Assembly takes about five minutes, just the legs.
